The transformer enclosures and EOR cabinets are part of the NEO system designed for the heating of railway switches. The construction of trackside heating devices and their operation is directly derived from the regulatory acts of the infrastructure manager, as well as from the specifications of the essential terms of the order. Prior to delivery, detailed technical documentation must be prepared to meet both of these requirements.
The ST-type EOR transformer enclosure is intended for powering the electric heaters of railway switch heating systems. The purpose of the EOR enclosure is to provide electrical separation between the circuits powering the EOR (400/230V, 50Hz) and the heating elements of the resistors and switch closures. It is made in protection class II from polyester-glass composites, resistant to weather conditions and mechanical damage. It ensures protection for the electrical equipment and the separation transformers installed inside. The enclosures are standardly equipped with startup dampers and a cover opening signal.

The NEOR distribution cabinet is designed to control and supervise the operation of the electrical power supply circuits for railway switch heating. In the case of dual-function NEORS cabinets, it also controls the lighting power supply circuits. The control can be manual using buttons, bypassing the cabinet controller (Rapid controller), local from the controller panel, or remote from higher-level devices through the RS485 bus or Ethernet network (optionally via GSM/GPRS or wireless network).
Communication between devices is carried out using the MODBUS-RTU (RS485) or MODBUS-TCP/IP (for IP networks) protocol. Supervision of the output circuits of the cabinet is achieved through continuous monitoring of the circuits' operation, displaying collected information on the panel, and transmitting it through the communication network to higher-level devices. The cabinet, along with the connected detection devices (sensors) and actuating devices (heating circuits for switch blades and closure heating circuits, lighting power supply circuits), forms a standalone system that does not require connecting other devices. For correct operation in automatic mode, connection to a supervisory system is not necessary. Functions performed through the communication network are used for remote supervision of cabinet operations and potential configuration of operational parameters.
